 The CHARGEGUARD® unit provides Protection for the battery against excessive discharge, the convenience of having your two-way radio on when you want it on, and yet requires no ignition switch connected.
With built in sensors, it automatically turns your mobile radio on when you start your motor. Likewise, when you turn the motor off, the radio stays on 15 minutes or until the end of your selected delay of one to fifteen hours.
